Hello dear geeks! It’s that time of year again, the time when your friendly neighbourhood fantasy nerds start teasing you with Wyrd & Wonder announcements and plans. First and foremost, of course, is THE RETURN OF WYRD & WONDER. For a sixth year!
Category: Dear Geeks…
We are two weeks away from November, and that means the good (space) ship SciFi Month is nearing the docks, to pick up this year’s crew for a brand new voyage! In order to keep nerdy appetites whetted, here’s a quick peek at what’s in store from this co-captain’s quarters…
So I promised this post a little while ago, and then life took the wheel and I almost forgot. But it’s here now – my schedule for our SciFi Month Readalong of Winter’s Orbit by Everina Maxwell! Check it out below.
Hello all! So. This summer has been a rough one, and I’ve let some dust gather as a result. But it’s time for opening windows, taking deep breaths of fresh air, and blowing off that dust, because our annual voyage known as SciFi Month is coming, and your nerdy co-captains imyril and I have got Plans. We’ve also got information, so let’s go over that!
So I am not here to talk about books, today. Today I’m telling a story of my own. Because I finally feel like I’m in the right place to tell it. PLEASE NOTE: This post will include non-graphic discussion of sexual and emotional abuse. I fully understand if, on account of this, you don’t wish to continue reading. Please take care of yourself first and foremost. With that said, let’s get a bit real in here.
So I can’t sit on this any longer, and it’s looking unlikely that I’ll have time to add anything to this list with only two and a half days left in the year. So it’s time to present the list of my absolute favourite reads of 2019! (In no particular order, because otherwise I’d be preparing this post ALL DAY and into the night…)
The hard work is done, and I’ve got a few days to breathe, relax, eat lots of food and enjoy myself. So naturally I’m back on the blog, to take a bit of time to look back over the year that was and remember fondly the best parts. Do join me!
So I’m borrowing this feature for today from imyril, who was herself tagged by another blogger, but the feature itself all began way back when with The Perpetual Page Turner. In lieu of new reviews, while I gear up for Wyrd and Wonder with as much reading as I can focus on, here’s an A to Z of me!
Got something a bit different for you today, folks! While I scramble around behind the scenes, preparing for Wyrd & Wonder and trying to catch up on review writing (this preparation business is serious, yo), let’s take a little break and look at a neat Kickstarter campaign that’s come to my attention…
O HAI! Hello there! Come on in! It’s been a while, hasn’t it! Take a look around, make yourselves at home. I’ll put the kettle on. How have you all been? Sooooo I moved into a new internet!house. It’s been an experience, let me tell you. None of the boxes, all of the mess. Anyway! I’m here, things are in order, and I’m ready to get back into my blogging groove.
