Most of the way through my second week of leisure (hooray for time off), I have remembered to post a thing! That thing being the complete reading schedule for this year’s Sci-Fi Month Read Along, which I recently announced would be Behind The Throne, the first book of The Indranan War trilogy by K.B. Wagers. Let’s take a look!
First off, in case anyone needs a refresh/an explanation of what Sci-Fi Month is, go here!
… Done that? Awesome. Let’s get to the book, and to the schedule!
‘I just said I wanted to kill someone. Giving me a gun probably isn’t the best of ideas.’
Hail Bristol has made a name for herself in the galaxy for everything except what she was born to do: rule the Indranan Empire.
When she is dragged back to her home planet to take her rightful place as the only remaining heir, she finds that trading her ship for a palace is her most dangerous move yet.
- Week 1: Chapters 1-8, questions posted on or by Thursday 2nd November
- Week 2: Chapters 9-15, questions on/by Thursday 9th
- Week 3: Chapters 16-22, questions on/by Thursday 16th
- Week 4: Chapters 23 to End, questions on/by Thursday 23rd
Hosting spots are open, if anyone would like to ask the questions for a certain round of chapters! I’ll be taking the first week for sure, and I’ll likely be keeping the discussions/questions focused here on the blog and in our Discord – if you haven’t joined us there yet, feel free to ask for an invite! Otherwise, let me know in the comments if you’ll be joining in, and whether or not you’d like to host a week.
Is it November yet?
