I have no illusions about my ability to stick to a plan, even one that should be relatively easy to do because it involves books. I fully expect this to go wildly off the rails, but sometimes that’s part of the fun! So. Let’s take a peek at what’s on my plate for this year’s Wyrd and Wonder fantasy-fest!
First up is the one book on my list that’s definitely locked in: this year’s choice for our group readalong!
Aw yeah. If you missed my earlier post about the schedule for this readalong, you can check it out here! I’m super excited for this one. But here is what else I’m super excited to (finally!) get around to reading…
- Steel Crow Saga by Paul Krueger
- Turning Darkness Into Light by Marie Brennan
- The Queens of Innis Lear by Tessa Gratton
- Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
- The Unspoken Name by A.K. Larkwood
- Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
… I seem to be in a mood for chonky numbers? Three of these are books I have hardcover editions of. I guess we’ll see how much of them I manage to chew on* before the end of May!
Also, don’t forget you can sign up for the event, and be in with a chance of winning a giveaway prize! Check out Quests and Rewards over at There’s Always Room For One More, for more info! imyril’s got you covered.
So! How about you? What’s on your reading list? And do you think you’ll stick to the plan or will glorious reading chaos reign?
*Not literally. The actual consuming of books is not encouraged. No one likes soggy paper.

I’m excited for the group read. It’s been on my TBR for so long.
Hooray!
YES LADIES JOIN ME π
I’ve read all but Steel Crow Saga. Bow in wonder if I should add that to my plans this month too! XD
…I’m totally going to buddy read The Goblin Emperor. I’ve been pretending I might just lurk in the comments because I have So Much To Read but… nope, no good, reading it. Yay!
The Queens of Innis Lear and The Unspoken Name are also both on my shelf so we will see whether you lead me astray from my TBR and into adopting yours π
