5 Star Books in 5 Words

Let’s take a little break from reviews and bookish discussions with a fun feature post!

I discovered this feature via Lauren over at Always Me, though the tag was originally created by Matthew Sciarappa. Read on for more!

The rules for this feature are fairly simple:

  • Choose 5 books that you gave a 5 star rating to (SF not required!)
  • Share 5 words that describe why you liked it so much (and/or, if you’re me, 5 words that come to mind when you think of it)
  • No explanation of those words is necessary. (Some may only make sense if you’ve read the book before.)

OK, here goes!

Entertainment | Corporate fuckery | Found family?

Feminism | Mathematics | Natural disaster | Anxiety

Labour unions | Witchcraft | Bikers | Weathermen

Found family | Artificial intelligence | Feathers

Time travel | Epic romance | Letters

So that’s my five! If you’d like to give this a whirl yourself, feel free to drop a link to your five picks in the comments below – and let me know if you get any of my references or if they’ve made you curious…
