Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish, and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is a freebie! And since it’s almost Halloween and the penultimate day of Spooktastic Reads, I’m going to share some seasonally appropriate books that are still (or have now been put) on my TBR list!
There are few places in the world more fitting as a setting for a ghost story than Edinburgh (yes, I’m biased, what of it?), and in City of Ghosts it’s clear to see that Ms Schwab not only agrees, but revels in the darker side of the city’s history. Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the …
In this episode, Diane’s struggle gets real. Very real. Too real? Let’s discuss Tremontaine.
In this episode, Diane discovers that City politics is even more of a boys’ club than she’d thought – and how. Elsewhere, the problem of stubborn men and how to deal with them is also proving difficult for Esha, and there’s an unpleasant turn of events in store for Tess and the River Rats. Let’s discuss Tremontaine.
